Almine Rech Artists Thu-Van Tran and Joël Andrianomearisoa Selected for 18th Lyon Biennale
Almine Rech announced that artists Thu-Van Tran and Joël Andrianomearisoa have been selected to participate in the 18th Lyon Biennale titled 'Passer d’un rêve à l’autre / To pass from one dream to another'. The biennale takes Robert Filliou’s Principles of Poetic Economy (1976) as a reference point and examines how artistic practices engage with economic life through labour, exchange and care. Developed across several sites in Lyon, the exhibition presents contemporary works alongside historical artworks, archival materials and objects.
