The Aspen Art Museum has commissioned artist Kerstin Brätsch to create a site-specific installation for its rooftop, scheduled to run from May 20, 2026, to March 31, 2027. The presentation features four sculptural mosaic benches that integrate artisanal craft techniques with functional design to house living plants. This project extends Brätsch’s 'Fossil Psychics' series, utilizing mosaic and stucco marmo to explore the intersection of painting, geology, and the natural environment.
