The Role

Reporting to the Head of Marketing, Communications and Client Strategy, Asia Pacific, the Client Strategy Manager will be responsible for building up a deep knowledge of the art and auction ecosystem in Hong Kong, its collectors, their collections and their activities, developing relevant and practical client engagement strategies, and help drive client engagement in Hong Kong with Christie’s specialists, client advisors and Chairman’s Office Specific duties &

responsibilities

will include but are not limited to:- Conduct research and develop deep knowledge of art collectors, their collections and their activities, the art and auction industry in Hong Kong, and draw insights that are relevant to Christie's client engagement efforts in Hong Kong Identify high potential consignors and bidders in Hong Kong across Christie’s sale categories, and develop client engagement plans with specialist department heads, client advisory team and Chairman’s Office Analyze data in Christie's databases, files, and catalogues, and draw out key recommendations for Christie’s campaigns, consignment and selling efforts among Hong Kong collectors Work with specialists and client advisors on client development ideas, debrief them after client meetings and visits, and follow up on opportunities and next steps Support specialists and client advisors in client outreach for Christie’s global sales Organize and conduct client reviews with specialists and client advisors, record meeting minutes and drive action points Prepare client transactions analyses and reports for the Head of Marketing, Communications and Client Strategy, Asia Pacific, highlighting key points and implications, and ensure they are available in a timely manner Ensure relevant client and objects information is properly entered, maintained and updated in Christie’s databases, and adhering to corporate data governance framework and guidelines The Candidate Bachelor's or Master's degree from a recognized University At least four-years successful

experience

in the art, auction, private banking, luxury or management consulting industries Good knowledge of the the global art and auction industries and collecting trends, and the art ecosystem in Hong Kong Fluency in English, Cantonese and Mandarin Very strong written, analytical, communication and interpersonal

skills

Very strong ability in managing, analysing and visualizing data Advanced proficiency in Excel and Power Point Strong professional communication and interpersonal

skills
