Hirshhorn Museum to Reopen Sculpture Garden with Eight New Acquisitions
The Smithsonian’s Hirshhorn Museum and Sculpture Garden in Washington, D.C., will reopen its 1.4-acre site later in 2026 following a revitalization project launched in 2020. The redesigned grounds, overseen by architect Hiroshi Sugimoto, will debut eight newly acquired sculptures.
