LACMA Opens David Geffen Galleries Following Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony in Los Angeles

The Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA) officially opened the David Geffen Galleries on April 19, 2026. Designed by architect Peter Zumthor, the new building was inaugurated with a ceremony attended by civic leaders and museum trustees.
