The Centre Pompidou, in collaboration with Maison Matisse, has announced the release of a limited edition portfolio featuring 24 plates from Henri Matisse’s 1947 artist book, 'Jazz'. Printed by the Anthèse lithography studio in Montrouge, the edition is limited to 150 numbered copies and coincides with the exhibition 'Matisse, 1941-1954'. The project, led by the artist's great-grandson Jean-Matthieu Matisse, utilizes a Marinoni-Voirin press to reproduce the artist's iconic decoupage works including 'Icare' and 'Le Clown'.
