Dia Art Foundation and SMAC Venice to Present Major Lee Ufan Retrospective for Artist's 90th Birthday

Dia Art Foundation will partner with SMAC Venice to present a comprehensive exhibition of Lee Ufan's work at the Procuratie Vecchie in Venice from May 9 to November 22, 2026. The presentation spans seven decades of the artist's career, featuring historical paintings, large-scale installations, and a new site-specific commission across eight galleries. A concurrent exhibition of Lee's paintings and sculptures will also open at Dia Beacon in New York to mark the artist's 90th birthday.
