Gropius Bau to Present Florentina Holzinger’s Venice Biennale Project in 2027

Gropius Bau has announced an adapted presentation of Florentina Holzinger’s interdisciplinary project, SEAWORLD VENICE (working title), scheduled for spring 2027. The work will first debut at the Austrian Pavilion during the 61st Venice Biennale in 2026 before moving to the Berlin institution. Holzinger’s research-based installation explores the intersection of the human body, nature, and technology through performance, opera, and theatre.
