Hauser & Wirth and Spike Island have appointed Penzance-based curator Joe Lyward as the recipient of the second Engagement Fellowship for South West-based Curators. Lyward will lead 'Should We Plant a Tree?', a year-long program in Bristol and Somerset focused on community-led projects and long-term ecological proposals. The initiative is part of a three-year partnership running through 2028 designed to support professional development for independent art workers in the South West of England.
