Hauser & Wirth Announces Glenn Ligon Collaboration with Artistic Noise for Youth Portrait Project
Artist Glenn Ligon has partnered with Artistic Noise, a Harlem-based nonprofit, to lead a self-portrait printing project for 12 system-impacted youth aged 14 to 22. The initiative included visits to Hauser & Wirth’s 18th Street gallery and The Studio Museum in Harlem, followed by eight artmaking sessions utilizing cyanotype, oil pastels, and charcoal. The resulting artworks will be featured in a showcase in Harlem on July 17, 2026, with all sales proceeds benefiting the young creators.
