Kamasi Washington to Inaugurate LACMA’s David Geffen Galleries with 100-Musician Performance

Composer Kamasi Washington will perform his work 'Harmony of Difference' at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA) on June 26, 27, and 28, 2025. The event marks the first public program held in the museum's new David Geffen Galleries, designed by architect Peter Zumthor. An ensemble of over 100 musicians will be positioned throughout the 110,000-square-foot space to utilize the building's acoustics.
