M+ Hong Kong to Present Major Ryuichi Sakamoto Retrospective Featuring Site-Specific Installations

M+ will host 'Ryuichi Sakamoto | seeing sound, hearing time' from February 14 to July 5, 2026, featuring the site-specific installation 'async–immersion' (2023) co-created with Shiro Takatani. The exhibition includes collaborative works by Nam June Paik and Carsten Nicolai, alongside a dedicated cinema program and vinyl listening sessions. This presentation follows the exhibition's debut at the Museum of Contemporary Art Tokyo and marks a significant survey of the late composer's interdisciplinary legacy.
