The Menil Collection will present 'The Hour Of The Dog', a six-channel video installation by Sir John Akomfrah, from April 24 to October 11, 2026. Co-commissioned with the Baltimore Museum of Art, the 51-minute work examines youth-led Civil Rights activism in the American South between 1954 and 1963. The installation features 15.1 surround sound and will screen hourly at the Houston-based museum.
