The Museum of Modern Art has received a gift from the Legacy Emilio Ambasz Foundation to launch the Ambasz-MoMA Annual Prize for Nature-Reconciled Architecture. The award will grant $200,000 annually to a project completed within the last 30 years that demonstrates a creative relationship between the built and natural environments. The prize money is split equally between the architect and a non-profit organization for tree planting, with the inaugural ceremony scheduled for late 2026.
