The New Museum will open its expanded New York facility on March 21, 2026, with a large-scale exhibition featuring over 150 international artists, scientists, and filmmakers. Titled 'New Humans: Memories of the Future,' the survey explores the intersection of technology and human identity through works by figures including Francis Bacon, Hito Steyerl, and Anicka Yi. The exhibition is curated by Massimiliano Gioni, Gary Carrion-Murayari, Vivian Crockett, and Madeline Weisburg.
