Parrish Art Museum to Host First Comprehensive Survey of Tony Bechara Following Artist's Death
The Parrish Art Museum will present 'Tony Bechara: An Artist of Many Worlds' from June 27 to November 1, 2026, marking the first comprehensive survey of the Puerto Rican artist. The exhibition features over 50 works spanning sixty years, including archival drawings and color formulas that explore Bechara's dedication to abstraction and color theory. The retrospective is timed to commemorate the one-year anniversary of the artist's passing and will be accompanied by a monograph featuring an interview with Hans Ulrich Obrist.
