The Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam has concluded 'Erwin Olaf – Freedom', the first museum retrospective since the artist's death in 2023. The exhibition featured early journalistic photography, sculptures, and his final works, 'For Life' and 'Self-Portrait 01', alongside previously unexhibited series such as 'Im Wald'. Curated by Charl Landvreugd, the presentation received high visitor ratings and four-star reviews from major Dutch publications including NRC and De Volkskrant.
