Tate Britain will debut a new film installation by artist Onyeka Igwe titled 'our generous mother' from September 19, 2025, to May 17, 2026. The work explores the colonial and post-independence history of the University of Ibadan in Nigeria through a multi-format installation featuring sculpture, slide projection, and digital film. The exhibition marks the 30th anniversary of the museum's Art Now program, which focuses on emerging contemporary artists in the United Kingdom.
