Tate Modern to Stage 60th Anniversary Performances of Yvonne Rainer’s Trio A in July 2026
Tate Modern will host free live performances of Yvonne Rainer’s seminal 1966 dance work, Trio A, in the Turbine Hall on July 10 and 11, 2026. The event marks the 60th anniversary of the work and represents its first live UK performance in 12 years, featuring a group of dancers led by certified transmitter Sara Wookey. The program, supported by Dance Reflections by Van Cleef & Arpels, includes a remote artist talk by Rainer and a screening of the artist's 1978 film version of the choreography.
