The Gilbert & George Centre will present a memorial exhibition dedicated to George Crompton, a long-time friend of the artist duo, opening on May 1, 2026. The exhibition features the triptych 'CROMPTON STREET' and the work 'NUMBER TWELVE,' marking a rare instance of the artists including a personal acquaintance in their imagery. The presentation also includes the 1989 Postcard Art group 'WORLDS and WINDOWS,' which has not been exhibited since 1990, alongside works from 'THE URETHRA POSTCARD ART' (2009).
