The Whitney Museum of American Art will host 'Ken Ohara: CONTACTS' from October 10, 2025, to February 8, 2026, marking the artist's first solo exhibition at a U.S. institution. The show features twenty-two photographs and four documents from a 1974–76 series where Ohara mailed cameras to strangers across thirty-six states to document their own lives. The exhibited contact sheets were recently acquired for the museum's permanent collection and are organized by Curatorial Fellow Eli Harrison.
