Zeitz MOCAA Announces Temporary Closure Following South African Government Lockdown Mandate
Zeitz Museum of Contemporary Art Africa (Zeitz MOCAA) has suspended all operations and closed its galleries in Cape Town in response to a nationwide lockdown ordered by President Cyril Ramaphosa. The institution is currently evaluating the impact of COVID-19 on its future exhibition schedule and programming while working with artists and stakeholders. General admission tickets purchased for the closure period will be fully refunded or honored upon the museum's reopening.
