Zeitz MOCAA Hosts Fifth Annual Gala, Announces 10th Anniversary Plans and Residency Renaming

Zeitz Museum of Contemporary Art Africa (Zeitz MOCAA) held its fifth annual gala on February 20, 2026, to raise funds for curatorial and educational programming. During the event, the museum announced the renaming of its Atelier Artist Residency Programme to the Koyo Kouoh Atelier in honor of the late executive director. The institution also presented honorary awards to artist Abdoulaye Konaté, philanthropists Anita Blanchard and Martin Nesbitt, and Justice Albie Sachs.
