Art Basel has announced the exhibitor lineup and program details for Art Basel Paris 2026, which will take place at the Grand Palais from October 23–25, 2026. The fifth edition under director Karim Crippa features more than 200 exhibitors from over 40 countries and territories across the Galeries, Emergence, and Premise sectors. More than 60 exhibitors operate spaces in France, joined by galleries from the United States, China, Japan, South Korea, Brazil, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, and other nations, with nearly 30 participating for the first time. According to the Art Basel & UBS Global Art Market Report 2026, French art market sales reached USD 4.5 billion in 2025, a 9% year-on-year increase that returned the market above 2019 levels and confirmed France as the fourth-largest art market worldwide.

The Signal

The fair's continued expansion under local leadership reflects sustained institutional and collector interest in Paris as a European contemporary art center. France's 8% share of the global market and position as the largest EU market by value underscore the commercial significance of the event for galleries seeking deeper regional engagement. The inclusion of first-time participants from Africa, the Middle East, and Asia signals broadening international networks that collectors and curators can access during the October fair week.
