Tate Modern to Host First Major UK Exhibition of Nigerian Modernism in October 2025

Tate Modern will stage the first UK exhibition dedicated to the development of modern art in Nigeria, featuring over 250 works by more than 50 artists. The survey spans 50 years of artistic production from the 1940s to the 1990s, including major works by Ben Enwonwu, Ladi Kwali, and El Anatsui.
