Tate Modern will stage the first UK exhibition dedicated to the development of modern art in Nigeria, featuring over 250 works by more than 50 artists. The survey spans 50 years of artistic production from the 1940s to the 1990s, including major works by Ben Enwonwu, Ladi Kwali, and El Anatsui. The exhibition, curated by Osei Bonsu and Bilal Akkouche, will run from 8 October 2025 to 10 May 2026.
