Emilia Kabakov Debuts Collective Venice Portrait Exhibition at Ca’ Tron with Thaddaeus Ropac
Artist Emilia Kabakov has opened a site-specific exhibition at the 16th-century Ca’ Tron palace in Venice, home to the Iuav University of Venice. The project, originally conceived with the late Ilya Kabakov, features 500 objects and diary entries contributed by local residents to document the city's social fabric. The installation is a reimagining of a 1993 concept first presented at the Museum van Hedendaagse Kunst in Ghent.
