The exhibition "David Salle: Painting in the Present Tense" will run at the Palazzo Cini from May 6 through September 27. The presentation features new works created using a custom AI model trained on the artist's "Tapestry Paintings" series from the early 1990s. The project explores themes of authorship and historical appropriation by referencing 18th-century Russian and 16th-century Italian tapestry designs.
