Kunstmuseum Schloss Derneburg will present 'Georg Baselitz: Time for New Heroes' starting 16 May 2026, featuring approximately 70 woodcuts and etchings created between 1964 and 2008. The exhibition focuses on the artist's 'Hero' and 'New Type' motifs and will include supplementary paintings and drawings. To coincide with the show, the museum will reopen the lower level of the 'New Studio,' the site where Baselitz produced prints for a decade.
