M+ Hong Kong to Launch Major Robert Rauschenberg Exhibition Focused on Asian Travels and Collaborations
M+ museum in Hong Kong will present 'Robert Rauschenberg and Asia' from 22 November 2025 to 26 April 2026, marking the first comprehensive exhibition of the artist’s work created in response to his travels across the region. The exhibition features over forty works, including assemblage, sculpture, and photography, alongside pieces by Asian artists who engaged with his practice. The presentation is part of the 'Rauschenberg 100' global centennial celebrations and explores his collaborations in China, India, and Japan, as well as the legacy of the Rauschenberg Overseas Culture Interchange (ROCI).
