M+ to Present Asia’s First Major Retrospective of Zao Wou-Ki’s Graphic Works
M+ museum in Hong Kong will host 'Zao Wou-Ki: Master Printmaker' from 13 December 2025 to 3 May 2026, marking the first major retrospective of the artist’s graphic oeuvre in Asia. The exhibition features nearly 180 works, including prints, illustrated books, and archival materials drawn primarily from a significant donation by Madame Françoise Marquet-Zao. Co-curated with the Zao Wou-Ki Foundation, the show explores the artist's technical evolution in printmaking and its influence on his abstract painting practice from 1949 to 2000.
