The Museu de Arte Moderna (MAM) Rio will present the first Brazilian iteration of Daniel Buren’s 'Voile/Toile – Toile/Voile' from February 24 to April 12, 2026. The project begins with a regatta of eleven Optimist sailboats featuring Buren’s signature vertical stripes traveling from Marina da Glória to Flamengo Beach. Following the performance, the sails will be installed within the museum in an arrangement determined by the order of the boats' arrival in the race.
