The Musée du Louvre will present a major exhibition dedicated to Germanic artist Martin Schongauer from April 8 to July 20, 2026. The exhibition features a near-complete collection of Schongauer's paintings, including the 1473 Madonna of the Rose Bower, alongside a selection of his drawings and engravings. The presentation also includes European artworks dating through the early 17th century to demonstrate the artist's long-term influence on the continent.
