Thaddaeus Ropac will open a dual exhibition titled ‘Dialogues are mostly fried snowballs’ at its Milan gallery space. The exhibition explores the relationship between Marcel Duchamp and Elaine Sturtevant, focusing on Sturtevant’s reinterpretations of Duchamp’s conceptual works. Featured artworks include a 1964 edition of Duchamp’s 'Porte-bouteilles' and Sturtevant’s 1992 photographic work 'Duchamp descendant l’escalier'.
