Thaddaeus Ropac Seoul presents 'Distancing', a group exhibition featuring 19 new paintings and one sculpture by artists Kei Imazu, Juree Kim, Nosik Lim, and Maria Taniguchi. The exhibition explores themes of material cycles, historical narratives, and spatial relationships through diverse media including Taniguchi’s 'Brick Paintings' and Kim’s soil-based installations. The show marks a dialogue between Korean contemporary art and wider Asian discourses, with works ranging from Indonesian-inspired mythologies to rural landscapes of Gyeonggi Province.
