Galerie Max Hetzler Highlights Katharina Grosse Edition and European Exhibitions
On May 29, 2026, Galerie Max Hetzler released details of Katharina Grosse's edition Fünfunddreißig Jahre Schönheit, 2026, the artist's third collaboration with TEXTE ZUR KUNST. Grosse produced 35 unique paintings on back issues of the magazine using her spraying technique to mark its 35th anniversary, from an edition of 35 plus 5 artist's proofs. The release also notes her solo exhibition Black Bed opening at MUNCH in Oslo this autumn, a site-specific project titled Arrels at La Llotja de Palma organized by the Government of the Balearic Islands and Es Baluard Museu d’Art Contemporani de Palma, and a group show at Pinakothek der Moderne in Munich.
The Signal
Grosse's bLINK installation is on view in Gothenburg as a commission from Public Art Agency Sweden and the Swedish Transportation Administration, while Staatsgalerie Stuttgart presents a survey of her three-dimensional work and Museum Reinhard Ernst in Wiesbaden shows her first glass piece. These projects extend the artist's institutional reach across multiple European venues and media, offering collectors and curators repeated opportunities to engage with her spatial and material experiments in both public and museum contexts.
